A.k.a. Saint Thomas of Catenbury a.k.a. Thomas of London, was an english cleric and statesman known for his conflict with king Henry II over the rights and privileges of the Church. He was killed at the Cathenbury cathedral by four knights. Knowing about their intent he went to the cathedral to pray and spend his last moments with God. Priests hurried to block the doors and fortify the cathedral, but Saint Thomas told ‘em to not do it because “it is not right to make a fortress out of the house of prayer”. His last words were said to his killers during his martyrdom.
